Dana White and Jake Paul are probably going to spar in the media for perpetuity.
Last week, Paul challenged UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal to a fight, chiding him about how “Daddy Dana” would not let him do it. Masvidal responded that the money was too low, but for the right price a deal could be made. Paul has also called White a cocaine user on multiple occasions.
White appeared on “The Fight with Teddy Atlas“, and issued a drug testing challenge to the YouTube star turned boxer.
“I got a challenge for Jake Paul,” White said, according to MMA Junkie. “This guy keeps saying that I’m a coke head. He can randomly cocaine test me for the next 10 years if I can randomly steroid test him for the next two.”
Paul, who is 5-0 as a boxer and has twice defeated former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, has previously denied PED usage.
White went on to say that there is no chance he would ever let one of his fighters box against Paul while still under contract with the UFC.
“No (scenario I’d let Diaz or Masvidal box Paul while under UFC contract),” White said. “You notice how he wants to fight f–king everybody that’s not in his weight class, guys that are older and all this bulls–t. Go fight a boxer. Go hump somebody else’s leg, you goofball.”
Considering White ultimately once let Conor McGregor box Floyd Mayweather, perhaps it’s possible that he could change his mind on a UFC fighter vying against Paul if the money was sweet enough.
However, for now we’re going to have to settle for wars of words across various digital platforms.
