Buck Showalter’s first teaching employees with the Mets is formally full.
The workforce introduced Friday that Craig Bjornson and Jeremy Barnes have joined the employees, as bullpen coach and assistant hitting coach, respectively. Bjornson and Barnes be part of beforehand reported hires Joey Cora (third base), Wayne Kirby (first base), Eric Chavez (hitting) and Glenn Sherlock (bench). As well as, pitching coach Jeremy Hefner was retained from final season.
Bjornson, 52, has eight seasons of expertise as a bullpen coach with the Pink Sox and Astros. His most up-to-date teaching stint got here from Boston between 2018-20. He replaces Ricky Bones, who was employed by the Nationals this offseason.
