Daniel Radcliffe will play ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic in biopic

The boy who lived will quickly be the person who sang “Eat It.”

Daniel Radcliffe, 32, is enjoying “the king of spoof” parody musician “Bizarre Al” Yankovic, 62, in a brand new biopic. Referred to as “Bizarre: The Al Yankovic Story,” the film will stream completely on the Roku Channel. 

“The biopic holds nothing again, exploring each side of Yankovic’s life, from his meteoric rise to fame with early hits like ‘Eat It’ and ‘Like a Surgeon’ to his torrid superstar amorous affairs and famously wicked way of life,” the press launch stated.

“‘WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story’ takes audiences on a really unbelievable journey by Yankovic’s life and profession, from gifted little one prodigy to the best musical legend of all time.”

The five-time Grammy-winning parody musician is the best-selling comedy recording artist of all time, recognized for his spoofs of songs akin to “Smells Like Teen Spirit” (“Smells Like Nirvana”), “Driving Soiled” (“White & Nerdy”), “Gangsta’s Paradise” (“Amish Paradise”) and extra. He’s considered one of simply three artists to land High 40 hits in each decade because the Eighties, alongside Michael Jackson and Madonna. He's co-writing the film, together with Eric Appel (Humorous or Die).

A premiere date for “Bizarre: The Al Yankovic Story” has not but been introduced.
