A 32-year-old man has been charged with a gun crime after he allegedly offered the pistol utilized by the hostage-taker within the Texas synagogue assault earlier this month, federal prosecutors introduced Tuesday.
Henry “Michael” Williams was charged with legal possession of a firearm Tuesday after prosecutors allege he offered the Taurus G2C pistol utilized by Malik Faisal Akram when he took 4 folks hostage at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, the Justice Division mentioned.
Williams had beforehand been convicted of aggravated assault with a lethal weapon and tried possession of a managed substance.
“As a convicted felon, Mr. Williams was prohibited from carrying, buying or promoting firearms,” Chad Meacham, US Lawyer for the Northern District of Texas, mentioned in a press release.
