Les Grobstein, Chicago reporter who got Lee Elia’s rant, dies at 69


CHICAGO — Les Grobstein, a longtime Chicago sports activities radio reporter and speak present host who recorded Lee Elia’s well-known profanity-laced postgame rant about Cubs followers, has died.

He was 69. WSCR-AM reported Grobstein died Sunday at his house. No trigger was given.
