Man fatally struck by Manhattan A train

A person was fatally struck by a practice in Manhattan early Friday, cops stated. 

He was killed when an A practice struck him at West 4th Road-Washington Sq. station in Greenwich Village at round 5:40 a.m., police stated. 

The person was pronounced lifeless on the scene. He was not a sufferer of against the law, however it was not instantly clear how he ended up on the tracks, police stated. 

“Northbound A E trains are delayed/re-routed whereas emergency groups responds to an individual who was struck by a practice at W 4 St-Wash Sq,” the MTA tweeted round 6 a.m.

“Northbound A trains are operating specific from Canal St to 59 St-Columbus Circle.”
