State senators permitted Janno Lieber because the MTA’s chairman and chief govt officer on Thursday by a vote of 56-7.
Lieber, who beforehand ran the MTA’s development division, had served within the function on an appearing foundation since his appointment by disgraced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo in July.
