The Federal Aviation Administration mentioned Tuesday it'll retain the authority to difficulty airworthiness certificates for all Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane and carry out last inspections on newly produced 787s.
The US aviation regulator mentioned it notified Boeing of the choice Tuesday and mentioned it'll retain the authority till it's assured that “Boeing’s high quality management and manufacturing processes constantly produce 787s that meet FAA design requirements.”
Deliveries of the 787 have remained frozen for months as US regulators overview repairs and inspections over structural flaws within the jets.
Boeing didn't instantly remark.
