Homeless man slits woman’s throat after she let him into her home for bath: cops

A homeless man in Utah allegedly slit a girl’s throat after she let him into her dwelling to bathe, cops mentioned.

Officers responded to a name of a girl closely bleeding from the neck round 5 p.m. final Sunday at her dwelling in Salt Lake Metropolis, in keeping with cops. 

She was transported to an area hospital in important situation and underwent emergency surgical procedure. Her situation was later upgraded to secure, however her present situation is unknown, cops mentioned.

Eric Jones slit the lady’s throat after she let him into her home to take a shower, as officers responded to a name of a girl bleeding profusely from her neck.

The girl informed investigators she let the person, later recognized by police as 30-year-old Eric Jones, into her dwelling to wash.

Jones was positioned by metropolis police round 1 a.m. Friday and later booked on the Salt Lake County Metro Jail on one rely of aggravated assault.
