Stabbing leaves 1 dead, 2 injured at Pennsylvania university

One pupil was fatally stabbed at Lincoln College close to Oxford, Pa., on Wednesday evening.

The stabbing reportedly occurred throughout a brawl amongst a bunch of individuals inside a residence corridor that homes over 370 college students.

“That is each mother or father’s nightmare,” Chester County District Lawyer Deb Ryan informed CBS Philly. “We lengthen our deepest condolences to the household and family members impacted on account of this tragedy.”

Lincoln College college students held an on-campus vigil Thursday evening to mourn the lack of their classmate.

“We're deeply saddened by the incident that occurred on campus final evening,” the college mentioned in an announcement. “Our ideas and prayers are with the victims and their households.

“We take the security of our college students significantly and are working with native authorities as there's an ongoing investigation.”
