Stars pay tribute to Ivan Reitman: ‘Ghostbusters’ legend dead at 75

Superstar tributes are pouring in for late director Ivan Reitman, who died on Sunday on the age of 75 in his sleep.

Hollywood took to Twitter to precise their love and condolences for the late “Ghostbusters” director and “Animal Home” producer.

Reitman’s son, “Juno” and “Up within the Air” filmmaker Jason Reitman, was amongst those that paid homage on Monday.

“I’ve misplaced my hero. All I would like is the possibility to inform my father another story,” the four-time Oscar nominee, 44, wrote in an emotional tweet. “He got here from a household of survivors and turned his legacy into laughter. “Street Journey” star Breckin Meyer, 47, recalled his personal experiences with Reitman, writing: “Ivan Reitman produced ‘Street Journey’ and there wasn’t, and nonetheless isn’t, a day that we forgot what a COMEDIC MASTER he was. The Czechoslovak-born producer’s kids — Jason Reitman, Catherine Reitman and Caroline Reitman — revealed the information of his passing in a sorrowful assertion on Feb. 13. “Our household is grieving the sudden lack of a husband, father, and grandfather who taught us to at all times search the magic in life,” they stated.
