Bicyclist gravely injured after hitting pedestrian in East Harlem: cops

A bicyclist was struggling to outlive after he struck a pedestrian, flew over his handlebars and hit the pavement in Manhattan Sunday morning, cops stated.

The biker was using north on First Avenue when he collided with a 21-year-old man who was crossing the road at East 111th Road in East Harlem round 12:30 a.m., in line with police.

The person, whose id wasn’t instantly launched, was taken to Harlem Hospital with severe head accidents.

It wasn’t clear if he was carrying a helmet, police stated.

The pedestrian was unhurt.
