TAMPA, Fla. — Toronto Blue Jays pitching coach Pete Walker apologized Saturday after being arrested on a cost of driving underneath the affect a day earlier.
Walker was arrested early Friday morning in Pinellas County, Florida, and launched later that day on $500 money bond.
“There was a visitors incident on Thursday evening that I used to be concerned in,” the 52-year-old Walker instructed reporters Saturday. “I’m very apologetic to the Blue Jays group, Blue Jays followers and my household.

He has been with the group as a coach since 2009, taking up as pitching coach in November of 2012. He pitched for the Blue Jays from 2002-06.
