The Metropolis Council is seeking to flip up the warmth on landlords.
In a bid to scale back the usage of area heaters just like the one which precipitated the Bronx blaze in January that killed 17 folks, Councilwoman Crystal Hudson (D-Brooklyn) launched laws that may require constructing house owners to boost the minimal temperature in all residential items through the eight-month “warmth season.”
