Colorado tourist dies at Grand Canyon after falling into whitewater rapids

A Colorado lady has died after she fell overboard into whitewater rapids on a visit via Grand Canyon Nationwide Park in Arizona, park officers mentioned.

Mary Kelley, 68, of Steamboat Springs, was 9 days right into a boating journey when she fell into the water Thursday morning close to Hance Fast on the Colorado River, the Nationwide Park Service mentioned in an announcement.

Members of her group pulled her out and tried CPR on her till authorities arrived.
