The Problem: The Biden administration’s response to Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine.

What I've realized in life and in politics is that weak spot will get no prizes (“Biden’s Bind,” Dalibor Rohac, PostOpinion, March 17).

After Neville Chamberlain failed to face as much as Adolf Hitler’s aggression previous to World Warfare II, Winston Churchill stated, “Between disgrace and battle, we've chosen disgrace, and we'll get battle.”

I’m not suggesting we go to battle with Russia, however we've not finished sufficient to assist Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his effort to cease the unprovoked aggression by Russia.

Proper now, Russian President Vladimir Putin is laughing his butt off at President Biden’s name-calling. Does anybody actually consider that Putin cares that Biden is asking him a battle prison?

Does anybody actually suppose that Putin will cease his warmongering even after the entire destruction of Ukraine?

NATO and the remainder of Europe must be quaking in worry. For they know that the USA has develop into a paper tiger underneath the likes of former President Barack Obama and Biden.

The time for capitulation to a bully is over, the time for name-calling is over, the time has come to take a agency stand and smack down the bully.

If we don’t do it now, it would solely embolden Putin — in addition to China, North Korea, Iran and the remainder of their ilk — to lift their ugly heads and look to destroy the US and all the pieces of their path.

Alan Brooks, Brooklyn

Whereas Biden deliberately thwarted the deal to switch Polish fighter jets to Ukraine as a result of he’s afraid of upsetting Putin, who's bombing indiscriminately and murdering civilians in his unprovoked battle in opposition to Ukraine, our president had no drawback handing $80 billion in plane, weapons and army gear together with a state-of-the-art airbase to the Taliban.

Ukraine is the entrance door of Western democracy. Biden’s absurd insurance policies of appeasement have finished nothing however embolden the bullies, thugs and maniacs who wish to destroy us and our democratic lifestyle. What's it about peace by way of power that Biden can't perceive?

I believe it’s time for the gloves to come back off within the protection of the residents of Ukraine. What Putin is doing to the Ukrainian folks is nothing wanting mass homicide. He should be stopped.

Arranging for the fighter jets to be given to Ukraine may very properly lead to a Russian retreat.

The Problem: A bunch of Yale Legislation College college students who protested a bipartisan panel on civil liberties.

The shout-down of a bipartisan free speech occasion at Yale was a really discouraging instance of what takes place at elite campuses (“Woke freedom of screech at Yale,” March 18).

Perhaps it isn't a real illustration of the campus. However, it's a poor reflection on how college students suppose and what's taught in regards to the First Modification.

Perhaps it’s time for Yale’s trustees to learn William Buckley’s “God and Man At Yale” and acquaint themselves with their duties.

Yale college students tried to shout down and harass audio system, and one threatened to struggle a speaker.

What in God’s identify goes to be the way forward for free speech in America? Will our future attorneys solely struggle for speech they agree with?

One thing wants to alter. Develop up and open your thoughts, children. Not everybody agrees with you.
