The Trump Group got here one step nearer to formally unloading their famed lodge within the nation’s capital.
The federal authorities formally gave the inexperienced mild to promote the Trump Lodge to CGI Service provider Group, a Miami funding agency. The lodge is in Washington D.C.’s historic Previous Publish Workplace constructing.
The Trump Group doesn't personal the constructing, and is as an alternative promoting the rights to a long run lease it has secured for the property from the federal authorities.
The sale value is predicted to be $375 million.
The brand new house owners plan to maintain the constructing as a lodge — sans the Trump identify — and rebrand the property as a Waldorf Astoria, which is owned by Hilton.
