Woman dies after suffering heart attack at finish line of LA half marathon

A girl died this week after she suffered a coronary heart assault on the end line of a Los Angeles half marathon Sunday, officers mentioned Tuesday.

Trisha Paddock, 44, suffered the medical episode after finishing the Charity Problem Half Marathon in slightly below 4 hours, in response to the Los Angeles Occasions.

“It is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies exit to her household and family members,” organizers reportedly mentioned in an announcement.

Paddock completed the 13.1 mile race in slightly below 4 hours, at a strolling tempo.

“We wish to specific our gratitude and appreciation to all the primary responders, paramedics and medical personnel who have been instantly on the scene,” the assertion continued.

Greater than $60,000 had been donated for medical bills on a fundraising website, which featured an image of Paddock, her husband Ryan, and their three youngsters.
