MTA worker struck by train in Brooklyn: cops

An MTA employee was struck by a prepare at a Brooklyn station early Monday, authorities stated. 

The 64-year-old worker was engaged on the tracks at Jay Avenue-MetroTech round 1:45 a.m. when he “made contact” with a departing northbound F prepare, cops stated. 

He was taken aware and alert to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the place he's listed in secure situation.

MTA Vice President for Subways Demetrius Crichlow stated he visited the unnamed employee on the hospital.

“The worker sustained accidents to his ribs and arms, however he’s in good spirits,” Crichlow informed MTA board members throughout their month-to-month committee conferences.

The incident comes months after an MTA sign maintainer misplaced his foot and had his different leg “shattered” after being struck by an oncoming prepare in Manhattan, in response to police and his union.
