An off-duty NYPD cop was busted for drunk driving in Brooklyn over the weekend, authorities mentioned.
Officer Tomas Garcia, 31, was sleeping on the wheel of his private automotive simply after 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Eighth Avenue and 61st Avenue when EMS staff approached him, police mentioned.
He confirmed indicators of intoxication and was busted on scene.
Garcia was charged with driving whereas intoxicated, cops mentioned.
