Israel: EU Parliament official focused on Palestine denied entry

A European Parliament delegation has been compelled to cancel a visit to the occupied Palestinian territories after the group’s chairperson, Manu Pineda, was denied entry to Israel.

The Spanish member of the European Parliament and chair of the parliament’s delegation for relations with Palestine was scheduled to journey to the occupied Palestinian territories with a gaggle of European lawmakers to overview the state of affairs on the bottom after the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.

Abu Akleh was shot and killed by Israeli troopers whereas reporting on an Israeli army raid in Jenin within the occupied West Financial institution.
