Kamala Harris hauls in $450K in book royalties as vice president

Vice President Harris hauled in almost half 1,000,000 dollars in ebook royalties throughout her first 12 months in workplace, ethics disclosure varieties present.

Harris reported $325,000 in royalty earnings from her 2019 ebook “The Truths We Maintain,” and one other $130,000 for her kids’s ebook “Superheroes Are In all places,” Bloomberg reported Friday.

The money far outstripped President Biden’s, who reported between $15,001 and $50,000 in royalties for “Promise Me, Dad,” — a heartfelt 2018 memoir about his late son Beau Biden, who died of mind most cancers in 2015.

Vice President Harris earned $325,000 from her 2019 ebook “The Truths We Maintain.”

Neither Harris nor Biden are wanting for cash nonetheless. The president reported $700,000 and $1.5 million in money, with between $195,000 and $650,000 in funding funds.

Harris had between $750,000 and $1.5 million within the financial institution, between $250,000 and $500,000 in a joint account along with her husband Doug Emhoff. Harris moreover held between $775,000 and $1.85 million in retirement funds.
