Kevin Garnett has perused the record of teaching finalists for the Los Angeles Lakers, and he's not impressed.
The Lakers have reportedly narrowed down their teaching search to Bucks assistant Darvin Ham, Warriors assistant and former Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson and former Path Blazers head coach Terry Stotts.
Posting on his Instagram story, Garnett wrote, “Man are the Lakers severe? They not severe about attempting to higher the scenario with that record of coaches.”
The NBA Corridor of Famer continued to opine on the record of candidates who may probably change the fired Frank Vogel.
“FOH [get the f–k out of here],” he added. “They severe? Nah they not severe! They severe.”
There are additionally rumors in NBA circles that Doc Rivers, who gained an NBA championship in 2008 with Garnett on the group, is a shadow candidate regardless of the 76ers retaining Rivers after the group collapsed within the playoffs.
Writing on his Substack Monday, veteran NBA reporter Marc Stein mentioned that the Lakers haven't “deserted hope” that they may land Rivers in a cope with the Sixers.


Maybe that will be a rent that will meet Garnett’s clearly-lofty requirements.
