Liberty drop fifth straight as Aerial Powers leads Lynx to victory

MINNEAPOLIS — Aerial Powers scored 12 of her 18 factors on free throws and the Minnesota Lynx held off the New York Liberty 84-78 on Tuesday night time.

Powers added 9 rebounds and two blocks for Minnesota (2-6). Kayla McBride scored 15 factors and made 4 free throws within the closing 15.9 seconds to protect the victory.

Sylvia Fowles completed with 14 factors and 14 rebounds, whereas Moriah Jefferson scored 12. The Lynx outscored New York 27-13 on the foul line and picked up their first house win of their third attempt.

Natasha Howard had 23 factors to guide the Liberty (1-5). Rebecca Allen, who got here in averaging 4.0 factors per sport, made 4 3-pointers and scored 21. Han Xu had 11 factors and 7 rebounds off the bench, whereas Sabrina Ionescu totaled 10 factors, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
