NYC firebug hits Bronx building, car with flammable liquid, sources say

A firebug flung two bottles containing flammable liquid at a parked automobile and residential constructing within the Bronx early Saturday, police sources stated.

The incident passed off at about 4:20 a.m. in entrance of 226 Kimberly Place, close to 231st Road in Kingsbridge, the sources stated.

The unknown male arsonist focused a parked automobile on Kimberly Place and the six-story residential constructing, inflicting minor injury in every case, the sources stated. The flammable bottles every contained a lit rag, sources stated.

The FDNY extinguished two minor blazes attributable to the pyromaniac, who fled eastbound on Kimberly Place, the sources stated.

There have been no accidents. FDNY hearth marshals are investigating.
