A teen was busted with a pair of firearms at a Queens highschool Wednesday morning, police confirmed.
Cops discovered the weapons within the 15-year-old’s backpack simply after 11:30 a.m. after the principal at York Early Faculty Academy on 167th Avenue in Jamaica received a tip that the teenager was carrying the firearms, in keeping with the NYPD.
The teenager, whose title was not launched as a result of he's a minor, was taken away in cuffs on pending costs, cops mentioned.
The academy doesn't have metallic detectors, cops mentioned.
“Weapons have completely no place in our faculties, and habits like this won't be tolerated,” a Division of Training spokeswoman mentioned.
