Yankees’ Matt Blake ejected after questionable Tim Anderson call

Yankees pitching coach Matt Blake was ejected within the third inning of the Yankees’ 5-0 loss within the nightcap

With one out, Chicago shortstop Tim Anderson reached on an infield single on a squib on the third-base aspect, with Luis Severino slipping to the bottom as he tried to area the ball.

Boone argued that it appeared the ball struck Anderson’s foot whereas he was within the batter’s field, however it's not a reviewable name. 

Blake was tossed from the dugout by home-plate umpire Greg Gibson after it was dominated that Anderson might stay at first base. He had been ejected one time beforehand with the Yankees for arguing balls and strikes in a sport final September.

“Misunderstood remark, mustn't have been thrown out of the sport,” Boone mentioned after Sport 2. “It was such an overreaction. [Blake] mentioned ‘you missed it.’ Which he did.”
