An enormous yacht caught fireplace on a New Hampshire river Saturday and sank after three folks and two canine jumped overboard.
The group had been onboard the 72-foot vessel, named the Elusive, on their strategy to a marina on the Piscataqua River in New Fortress once they observed black smoke coming from under the deck at round 4 p.m., the New Hampshire Division of Security stated.
The three folks in addition to their two canine jumped into the river because the Elusive went up in flames. All 5 had been rescued by good Samaritans on close by boats.
The three boaters — recognized as Arthur Watson, 67, and Diane Watson, 57, of New Canaan, Connecticut and Jarrod Tubbs, 33, of Jupiter, Florida — had been taken to a close-by hospital, handled and launched.
