Officers had been referred to as to the house simply after 6 p.m. and located Moore inside the house on 112th Road South with a gunshot wound. Officers tried first help, however had been unable to save lots of him.
Moore, initially from East Level, Georgia, was stationed at Joint Base Lewis McCord in Washington. The bottom confirmed his loss of life in an announcement, based on KIRO 7 Information.
“It's with a heavy coronary heart that we mourn the lack of Sgt. Moore,” Lt. Col. John Tisserand, the 1-14 CAV battalion commander, stated. “That is an especially tough time for the Warhorse household. Our main mission now's caring for the relations of our fallen soldier.”
Detectives are investigating what led as much as the taking pictures. The suspect fled the celebration and no arrests had been made, police stated.
Neighbors close to the house stated they heard what they thought had been fireworks — till police confirmed up.
“We had been having a barbecue, then we heard like three or 4 [shots], which we thought had been fireworks,” Sandra Kinney informed KIRO 7 Information. “Then, all of the cops got here.”
