BINGHAMTON — At 20 years previous, Francisco Alvarez is tied for the youngest participant within the Jap League and the fourth-youngest place participant in all of Double-A.
And but, the Mets’ prime prospect isn't happy with simply being forward of most gamers his age.
“I believe Vladdy, Acuña, Tatis Jr. — these guys had been in my spot and so they’re already within the bigs,” Alvarez mentioned not too long ago by an interpreter, accurately noting that Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Ronald Acuña Jr. and Fernando Tatis Jr. — three of the sport’s largest younger stars — all made their MLB debuts as 20-year-olds.
“So I need individuals to deal with me as a person. That’s how I really feel.”
