NYC teacher Marquell Singleton allegedly threw student to the ground

A Brooklyn instructor has been arrested for throwing a 12-year-old boy to the bottom throughout an argument, cops say. 

Marquell Singleton, 30, clashed with the pre-teen pupil round 12:30 p.m. Saturday at PS 178 Saint Clair Mckelway on Dean Avenue close to Saratoga Avenue in Brownsville, police stated. 

The pair was arguing, and in some unspecified time in the future through the scuffle, Singleton allegedly grabbed the boy and hurled him to the bottom, inflicting him to hit his head. 

It was unclear what accidents the boy might have suffered or why the college was open Saturday. 

Singleton was arrested Monday and charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a kid, cops stated.

“This alleged habits is completely reprehensible and won't be tolerated,” the town Division of Training stated in a press release. “This worker was faraway from the college and college students, and we are going to work with the NYPD as they examine. If convicted, we are going to transfer to terminate him. The security and wellbeing of our college students stays our prime precedence.”
