In the hunt for consolation after tearing her ACL, Christen Press turned to man’s greatest buddy — canines.
“My coronary heart is damaged: I’ve torn my acl,” the USWNT ahead wrote on Twitter. “Readily accepting all love, prayers, digital hugs, canine pics, and smudging ceremonies. Love you all xx.”
Accordingly, followers flooded Press’s mentions with photos and movies of their very own canines in motion. Even USWNT nice Abby Wambach — a former teammate of Press — joined the fray.
Press, who performs for Angel Metropolis FC of the NWSL, initially suffered her harm throughout Saturday’s recreation towards Racing Louisville.
