14-year-old busted for shooting at cop car in Staten Island

A 14-year-old boy was busted after he shot at two law enforcement officials in a cop automotive in Staten Island, authorities mentioned.

The uniformed officers had been driving in an unmarked police cruiser close to Prince Road and Vanderbilt Avenue round 10:10 p.m. when the teenager approached them and opened hearth, lacking each officers and the car, police mentioned.

The teenager fled on foot however officers caught up with him and took him into custody. He was in possession of a handgun, cops mentioned.

“It didn’t seem clear that the suspect knew that they had been police,” a police supply mentioned.

The teenager, whose id wasn’t launched due to his age, was charged with two felony counts of legal possession of a loaded weapon, obstructing governmental administration and legal possession of a weapon.

“He was squeaky clear till final night time,” the supply mentioned. “He debuted with that one.”
