E-bike rider killed in Upper East Side crash: cops

An e-bike rider was killed when he slammed right into a pole on the Higher East Facet early Monday, cops mentioned. 

The person was heading south within the bike lane on Second Avenue close to East 89th Road round 12:40 a.m. when he misplaced management and struck a pole on the sidewalk, police mentioned. 

He suffered head trauma and was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Heart, the place he was pronounced lifeless, authorities mentioned.
