Militias and vigilantes on the southern border of the US

Throughout the Trump administration, massive numbers of militia members and vigilantes flocked to the southern border of the US. They pledged to cease undocumented border crossings and began patrols with that in thoughts. However the residents of the small border city of Arivaca, Arizona had seen these teams earlier than and had little interest in dealing with them once more. Writer and journalist Patrick Strickland spent a yr reporting there and tells us what he discovered.
