A person died after leaping into the Harlem River Saturday, officers stated.
The FDNY and NYPD’s water items had been deployed after experiences of an individual within the river close to the northern fringe of the 25-acre waterfront Roberto Clemente State Park in The Bronx at round 12:25 p.m., police stated.
“He jumped into the Harlem River,” a division spokeswoman stated Saturday afternoon.
The person, who wasn’t instantly recognized, was introduced from the river and onto shore, cops stated.
A ready ambulance rushed him to New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital, the place he was later pronounced useless, an NYPD spokeswoman stated.
