Off-duty NYPD auxiliary sergeant shot, robbed of motorcycle in NYC

An off-duty NYPD auxiliary sergeant was shot within the leg as three masked bandits robbed him of his motorbike in The Bronx early Saturday, police stated.

The 23-year-old was on his 2017 white Kawasaki motorbike when he was surrounded by the masked thieving trio on Independence Avenue between 238th Road and 239th Streets at round 4:30 a.m., cops stated.

The auxiliary officer was shot within the left leg in the course of the theft. The suspects snatched his bag and cellphone earlier than taking off on his journey and at the very least one different motorbike, the NYPD and police sources stated.

The sufferer was taken by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.

There have been no arrests. Police didn't present an outline of the suspects, who fled in an unknown path.
