That is one storybook ending.
The James J. Ferris Excessive Faculty department of the Jersey Metropolis Free Public Library was lately reunited with a ebook that was returned after a staggering 75 years, in response to the Hudson Reporter.
Bob Jablonski, who grew up in Jersey Metropolis, checked out “Hitler,” by Oden Rudolph at his highschool library in 1947, at age 14.
The now-89-year-old discovered the title when cleansing his household house and returned it in mint situation, full with its authentic reference card tucked inside.
Though exceptionally late, Jablonski’s timing was impeccable. The library carried out a no-overdue payment coverage in March 2021, so he didn't need to pay any fines for the recovered ebook.
