Aaron Hicks, Mark Canha make similar embarrassing errors minutes apart

Inside the span of only a few minutes, two New York outfielders suffered embarrassing errors making an attempt to catch seemingly routine fly balls.

First, within the Yankees’ series-opening recreation towards the Rays, middle fielder Aaron Hicks spun every-which-way as he hopelessly looked for David Peralta’s fly ball within the fourth inning. After turning three separate instructions, the ball landed subsequent to Hicks on the warning monitor, permitting Peralta to race all the best way spherical for a triple.

One play later, Isaac Paredes’ single scored Peralta to place the Rays forward 1-0.

Simply moments later, Mets left fielder Mark Canha badly misjudged a fly ball within the second inning of the Amazin’s series-opener with the Braves.
