Child star survivor Jennette McCurdy: Why ‘I’m Glad My Mom Died’

Starring in “iCarly” didn’t really feel like a giant break for Jennette McCurdy.

“She bangs on the steering wheel, by accident hitting the horn. Mascara trickles down her cheeks. She’s hysterical, like I used to be within the ‘Hollywood Murder’ audition. Her hysteria frightens me and calls for to be taken care of,” McCurdy wrote of her mom.

Whereas her mother was excited her daughter booked the position, the “iCarly” star was solely comfortable that her mother was comfortable.

“I leap into Mother’s arms. She squeezes me. I’m elated. Every part’s going to be completely different now. Every part’s going to be higher. Mother will lastly be comfortable. Her dream has come true,” McCurdy penned.
