Deebo Samuel agrees to three-year, $73.5 million extension with 49ers

Deebo Samuel is getting his bag.

The star 49ers large receiver agreed a three-year, $73.5 million contract extension to return to San Francisco, based on Ian Rapaport, together with $58.1 million of the deal absolutely assured.

San Francisco and Samuel danced round with drama for almost all of the previous offseason, with the Professional Bowler reportedly requesting a commerce in April. 

The contract signing ends the saga and locations Samuel again within the 49ers’ offense as their main producer. 

Samuel performed each receiver and working again final season as a “large again,” a place which helped him have a breakout 12 months.

The 26-year-old exploded with a Jimmy Garoppolo-led offense, recording 14 whole touchdowns final season with 1,405 receiving yards. For his efforts, Samuel acquired Professional-Bowl and first-team All-Professional honors for the 2021 season.
