FBI report confirms Alec Baldwin pulled the trigger in fatal ‘Rust’ set shooting

The feds have all however concluded actor Alec Baldwin will need to have fired the weapon on the set of the film “Rust” that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, in response to a bombshell report.

In line with an FBI forensic report obtained by ABC Information, the gun delivering the deadly bullet within the Oct. 21 capturing on the New Mexico set “couldn't be made to fireside and not using a pull of the set off.”

Baldwin, the star and producer of the Western movie, claimed he believed he was dealing with a “chilly gun” with out reside ammunition when it went off and a reside bullet hit Hutchins, killing her. The movie’s director, Joel Souza, was wounded within the incident.

In an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos final December, Baldwin insisted he didn’t fireplace the weapon.

“The set off wasn’t pulled,” he stated. “I didn’t pull the set off.”

Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez Reed, who was in control of all weapons on the “Rust” set, couldn't be reached for remark.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Workplace, which is heading the murder investigation, acquired the report and different FBI paperwork associated to the capturing earlier this month, the sheriff’s workplace advised ABC Information.
