Appalachian State pulls off unreal Hail Mary as time expires to beat Troy

Appalachian State magic has struck once more.

Trailing 28-26 to Troy within the dying seconds on Saturday, Mountaineers quarterback Chase Brice uncorked a 53-yard Hail Mary as a final resort with time expiring.

His throw landed in need of the tip zone and on high of a mixture of receivers and defenders, nevertheless. That’s when magic struck once more.

After bouncing off a number of defenders’ fingers, the cross landed completely in Christian Horn’s fingers. He subsequently ran with it eight yards into the tip zone for an additional iconic win.

Brice completed with 278 passing yards and two touchdowns. Horn led the group in receiving, hauling in 5 receptions for 98 yards and that decisive landing.

Simply final week, Appalachian State surprised Texas A&M with a 17-14 win.
