The households of 4 Europeans imprisoned in Iran for a number of years have accused the European Union of ignoring the plight of their family members.

An open letter by the households was despatched to EU overseas coverage chief Josep Borrell amid the talks on the Iranian nuclear deal.

“We, the households of French, Swedish, German, and Austrian residents, who've been illegally detained by the Iranian regime, are outraged that the European Union appears to be ignoring these crimes,” the households mentioned within the letter.
