A person was caught within the act as he flung eggs on the entrance to Trump Tower early Thursday, police sources stated.
The 51-year-old man approached the glass door of the luxurious Midtown constructing on Fifth Avenue close to East 56th Road round 8:30 a.m. and walloped it with eggs, in keeping with the sources.
Members of the NYPD’s Crucial Response Command had been on scene and took the vandal into custody, the sources stated.
He was slapped with a summons for disorderly conduct, the sources stated.
His title and his motive weren't instantly recognized.
