NJ’s Lakewood Township removes trees in public square to combat homelessness

A New Jersey city made the controversial determination to chop down bushes from a public sq. to discourage homeless folks from congregating within the space, based on a report.

Advocates criticized the choice to take away the bushes as pointless and stated it did nothing to handle the issue of homelessness.
