AU-led Ethiopia peace talks delayed over logistics: Diplomats

The African Union-led peace talks proposed for this weekend to attempt to finish a two-year battle in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray area have been delayed for logistical causes, two diplomatic sources instructed Reuters information company on Friday.

Ethiopia’s authorities and rival Tigray regional forces stated on Wednesday that they accepted the AU’s invitation to talks in South Africa, which might be the primary formal negotiations between the 2 sides since battle broke out in November 2020.
