Rapper Coolio, identified for his hit 90’s tune ‘Gangsta’s Paradise,’ died Wednesday. He was 59.
The rap star was discovered useless on the toilet ground of a good friend’s residence in Los Angeles, his longtime supervisor, Jarez Posey, instructed TMZ.
Coolio, whose authorized title was Artis Leon Ivey Jr., was pronounced useless on scene by responding EMTs, TMZ reported. It’s suspected he died of cardiac arrest.
The rapper launched his profession within the Eighties and he skyrocketed to nationwide fame along with his 1995 Grammy Award-winning hit “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which was featured on the soundtrack of Michelle Pfieffer’s 1995 crime drama “Harmful Minds.”
The long-lasting tune spent three weeks as a No. 1 on the billboard charts and was parodied by Bizarre Al Yankovic in his tune “Amish Paradise.”


The California-based rapper’s different hits embody 1994’s “Implausible Voyage,” which peaked at #3 and “1,2,3,4 (Sumpin’ New)” and “It’s All of the Approach Stay (Now).”
His demise comes simply 4 days after he took to Instagram to publish his newest efficiency in Texas.
Members of the rap group and past took to social media to mourn the rapper and producer’s sudden demise.

MC Hammer remembered Coolio as “One of many nicest dudes I’ve identified. Good folks,” he mentioned.

Coolio is survived by his six kids and ex-wife, Josefa Salina, whom he married in 1996 earlier than the couple break up 4 years later.
