Grandfather of 11 steps in to help woman during armed robbery

A courageous Texas grandfather stepped in to assist save a lady from being carjacked at gunpoint.

The 73-year-old, whom native outlet KHOU later recognized as Simon Mancilla Sr., observed the girl being choked by the alleged suspect exterior a check-cashing enterprise in Houston on Sept. 7

Based on police, the girl left the check-cashing enterprise and approached her truck when the armed suspect demanded the keys to her 2011 GMC Sierra.
