Revisiting the hidden US war in Somalia

The US army has acknowledged 5 civilian casualties from air assaults in Somalia. Civilians say the toll is larger.

The US redeployed its floor troops in small numbers to Somalia in Might 2022, however its air battle has been happening for for much longer. For 12 years, the US denied any civilian casualties from air assaults, admitting simply 5 deaths to date. On this episode, we hear from three individuals who uncovered the fact of the civilian demise toll and laid the disconnect naked.
